The idea

Fifteen small olive trees on the land are not healthy. Each one will get a ring of dry stone wall around it, filled with mulch and bushes to hold the moisture in the ground.

Each ring is also a low wall to sit on, in the shade of the tree it protects. The gaps between the stones give frogs, lizards and birds a place to live.

The walls are built by hand in dry stone, on Steven's walling weeks. Come and build part of it yourself.
